President Obama is currently deliberating a permit to build a pipeline from Canada to Texas to extract oil from the tar sands, a process which leaks massive amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere, and negate other efforts to reduce climate change. Every day in August, protestors are getting themselves arrested to raise awareness of the issue.
